Welcome back to our monthly meetings.

Our next meeting is THURSDAY!! Feb. 9, 2012 at our NEW LOCATION!!, We are now at the old Sunset Ave School. The  address is 2521 Sunset Ave. .The old school is 2 blocks from the end of Sunset where it is a dead end at Woodlawn Ave. As you look at the front of the school, you can park in the lot on the left side of the school. Enter the side  door and we are the 1st room on the left. if  you need handicap access, park in the lot on the right side of the building, where there is a ramp. There is plenty of parking. The meeting starts at 7 pm. We hope to see you there, bring along a friend.

We meet on the 2nd Thrsday evening of the month. Meetings are not held during the months of July and August. Starts at 7:00 p.m. Bring a friend along as well.

 


 

MISSION



We, the undersigned, wishing to secure for ourselves the pleasures and benefits of an association of persons commonly interested in Amateur Radio, constitute ourselves the “Utica Amateur Radio Club”, hereafter referred to as “The Club” and “UARC”.



We, the members, enact this constitution as our governing law and it shall be our purpose to:


  1. Support and promote educational projects of any benevolent, charitable, educational, or missionary undertaking as it pertains to Amateur Radio.

  2. Act as a unified group to furnish communication services for Emergency Management, any state, county, or city law enforcement agency, or charitable organization during times of emergency, distress, national disaster, or in the public interest.

  3. Provide for instruction in the fundamentals of electronics and its allied arts, including Morse code.

  4. Provide open meetings for lectures and discussions of scientific developments in the radio communications and electronics arts.

  5. Enhance our individual and collective knowledge of radio communications and its allied arts and sciences.

  6. Encourage cooperative fellowship among radio amateurs.

  7. Raise public awareness and promote interest in Amateur Radio.
